How to cook 5 Spicy Noodles and Lentils (2 portions)
rinse and cook 100g red lentils in a pan of boiling water, simmer for about 20 minutes until soft and mushy, keep stirring to prevent sticking.
add 1 tablespoon of rapeseed oil to frying pan.
add about half a chopped up onion and a chopped up green pepper and stir in
add 3 chopped up mushrooms and 4 cauliflower florets
add 1 teaspoon of Chinese 5 spice.
stir in
add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
and stir in whilst still cooking
leave to cook until lentils are cooked, stir regularly to prevent sticking.
add strained cooked lentils and mix in thoroughly
serve on bed of noodles
