How to make a Quinoa Salad

1. Rinse a cup of quinoa and strain.

2. Put in microwave bowl with two cups of water.

3. Cover bowl and put in microwave for 6 minutes.

4. Stir.

5. Put in microwave for a further 2 minutes.

6. Sit covered for 10 minutes until all the water is absorbed.

7. Cut up whatever salad ingredients you have. I used cucumber, a cup of frozen peas, an apple, an orange, some cherry tomatoes – stir together well and then add in the quinoa and stir til all mixed together.
