Tarka Dhal
Ingredients:
1lb of red lentils
3 cloves of garlic (chopped)
1 onion (chopped)
2 chillies (chopped)
1 heaped teaspoon of turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
2 pints of water
some cherry tomatoes and green beans
Method:
Cook it all together in a large pan until mushy
Add green beans and cherry tomatoes, and cook til soft
Serve with rice
top with slices of freshly fried garlic slices and cumin seeds
