๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ Exploring the Fosse Way โ€“ A Walk Through History ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ

Step back in time with us as we journey along the Shepton Mallet and the Fosse Way trail, originally mapped by Anthony Maries from Walking Britain. Though development has altered the landscape, this historic route still offers a stunning blend of nature and Roman heritage.

We visited St Aldhelmโ€™s Well, imagined Roman Centurions marching these ancient roads, and indulged in a vegan Roman-inspired picnic featuring flatbreads, spelt-based dishes, and Globiโ€”a sweet treat from history!

Wildlife enthusiasts will love the Merlin app for identifying bird calls along the way.
